At the start of Episode 7 following the release of Gekko, Riot revealed that players can expect two new agents and a map to be released before the end of 2023. So far, one of the two agents, Deadlock and the map Sunset, is live on the server. Remember to check out Valorant items for sale at U7BUY.

However, the teased third agent will still be released in 2023. The developer is keeping mum on details about the new agent, only revealing to players what they can expect.

While it’s still early days, here’s what we know about Agent 24.

Release window of Valorant Agent 24

The developer revealed in its initial announcement that Agent 24 would be released before the end of 2023, but did not give a specific release date.

If we take Agents released at this time of year as a benchmark, Chamber and Harbor were released in mid-October and mid-November respectively. So unless developers plan to buck the trend, we expect the new Agent to launch in December.

Valorant Agent 24: Role

In the Episode 7 trailer, Valorant character producer John Goscki announced that Agent 24 will be a duelist, making them the seventh duelist on the roster. However, the developers did not reveal details about its abilities.

However, Gosciki did reveal a few things to look forward to. In a development blog post, he teased Agent’s focus on gunplay, saying, “At its core Valorant is a team-based Tac Shooter where gunplay shines. For some of you, that means aspiring to plow through enemies like Jinggg, and putting in hours in clicking those orbs with aim trainers for that clean 5k.”

He continued, “This next Agent is for you. We’ve also got a little twist you never thought would make it into Valorant.” He teased that some players’ guesses were correct.

Beyond that, Gorcicki did not reveal any other information. We will update you here as we learn more.

Valorant Agent 24: Teasers

So far, the developers have given players multiple trailers. In a developer blog post, they added a picture of the Chinese delicacy duck blood hotpot, which many players believe means Agent 24 could be Chinese.

This also coincides with the recent official release of Valorant in China.

However, there is also speculation that the agent may be from Singapore, which has a deep connection with Chinese cuisine. The dev blog also mentioned Singaporean player Jinggg from the Paper Rex team.

However, as of this writing, we haven’t gotten any official confirmation on Agent 24’s nationality.

Another trailer has been added to Sunset, where a glowing purple circle can briefly be seen in the Defender spawn area. It also looks similar to the leaked “Bulletproof” player card.

The trailer will most likely have something to do with the agent’s abilities, however, we have no information on what that ability will do.
